United Nude Hat

"The United Nude Stealth Hat, like the wedge shoe in the same family is inspired by the straight lines of the Stealth F-117 fighter plane. Unlike the aircraft, the United Nude Stealth does not fly under the radar; it is very sexy and gets noticed immediately for its remarkable and unique design." (via united nude)

Club Monoco

I would love to have this shirt, but I have no money to purchase it. Instead, I am blogging about it, which makes it feel like it could be mine. This Lexi shirt , by Club Monoco, has a very sweet and charming pattern. I appreciate clothing that has a trompe l'oeil effect like Rosalind Keep does in her clothing.

Wacky Shoes

"Kobe Levi's wearable sculpture (er, shoes) show that design most definitely trumps function. Seriously, slingshot slingbacks are not for the faint of heart. And the hoofed boots will most definitely be worn by Bjork before the year is out, I'm sure of it. [Via Melissa Dixson Taxidermist]" (via the storque)

Cement Earings

"These cement earrings are modeled on classic pearl studs. Each concrete sphere is cast by hand and set onto a sterling silver post. With wear, the colour of the earrings will deepen as the concrete is exposed to the air and the oils from your skin." (via notcouture)

Paper hats

"Designer naoto fukasawa has created a series of hats that are made entirely out of traditional
japanese washi-paper. the three pieces entitled 'ivy cap', 'hat', and 'tyrolean hat', are constructed
from a new type of paper called 'naoron' developed by washi-paper manufacturer onao which
withstands both moisture and weight, resulting in a lightweight material that does not tear easily."

Contemporary Wood Art Jewelry

This post is a little overdue, but I still want to share this with everyone! Gustav Reyes was one of my favorite vendors at the Renegade Craft fair this year. His wood bracelets are so elegant! You can view his website here elegantgustavreyes.com , but unfortunately if you are looking to purchase his jewelry, you can only buy his stuff at certain shops and craft fairs.

Modern Locket

"Urban Butik launched an innovative new personal design by Kähler at the NYIGF. Designed by Helena Rohner, My Life is a modern take on the traditional locket. Instead of opening a necklace locket to find a photo, these necklaces are USB drives. Carry photos of loved ones and any other personal data you wish with you wherever you go." (via design-milk.com)
